The weather is resting. It’s dark, cold and rainy in the Pacific Northwest. The hustle and bustle energy of the holiday season is swirling. But today…Today — A beautiful sign and strong messages from spirit made a presence. A double rainbow rarity. I was driving home and noticed it, so of course I pulled into the closest parking lot to capture it. Now not to get all “sciency” on you, but I’m going to get a little “sciency” on you. When a normal rainbow 🌈 forms (if you didn’t know already), this is the sun’s light reflecting inside each rainbow droplet. In order for a double rainbow to form, the light from the ☀️ sun gets reflected TWICE within the same raindrop. Nature just blows my mind. You will usually see the second rainbow above the first. I had to stop and take a photo. It’s very feint but above the darker rainbow you can see the second. In person it was so bright. |
