Have you ever walked into a room and immediately felt a “vibe” without anyone saying a word? It’s a feeling you have that SOMETHING is off balance. Maybe you’ve met someone and, without logical explanation, felt either drawn to them or repelled by them but you do not understand why. This is energy. It’s unseen but deeply felt, and whether we realize it or not, it’s everywhere — in everyone and everything.
It’s important to understand that energy talk and work isn’t limited to healers, empaths, or spiritual practitioners, it’s for everyone because it is in and around everyone. Because the truth is, your vibration determines your life experiences. It influences your relationships, finances, health, and even the way opportunities show up (or don’t) in your life.
So, how do you recognize your vibration and shift it as needed? It requires awareness and takes both a conscious and unconscious effort.
Why does this even matter?
As mentioned before, everything is energy. Your thoughts, emotions, body, and even the space around you emit a frequency. Even that really pretty glass bowl or nice watch you picked up at the vintage thrift shop last weekend. Yeah, it has energy attached to it. The trees, animals, plants, nature. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING, carries energy. It can never be destroyed, only moved, changed and shifted.
High-vibrational energy is associated with joy, peace, love, gratitude, enlightenment, expansion and clarity. When you’re in a high vibration, life flows effortlessly. Synchronicities occur like getting every green light on your drive into the office, or you meet the best clients, or that one coffee shop is always sold out of your favorite coffee but somehow every time YOU visit, they have it in stock. You feel aligned and magnetic.
Low-vibrational energy is linked to fear, doubt, stress, frustration, and exhaustion. You know, all the "bad" feels. In this state, everything feels like an uphill battle. You might notice repeating negative patterns, relationship or financial struggles, or emotional imbalance and heaviness.
The good news? You are not stuck in any vibration. Your energy is fluid, interchangeable and you have the power to adjust it at any time.
How to Recognize Your Current Vibration
Take a deep breath. Right now, in this moment, tune in.
Ask yourself:
Do I feel light, inspired, and at ease? (High vibration)
Do I feel drained or stuck? (Low vibration)
Your body, mind, and emotions are always communicating with you. Here are some common signs to help you assess your current energetic state:
High Vibration:
-You feel clear, focused, and inspired
-You attract positive experiences and opportunities effortlessly
-You feel connected to yourself and others
-You wake up feeling excited or at peace
-You experience synchronicities (angel numbers, lucky moments, aligned events)
Signs of Low Vibration:
-You feel stuck in a negative loop
-You experience exhaustion, brain fog, or emotional heaviness
-You easily absorb other people’s stress or negativity
-You notice frequent obstacles or delays in life
-Your inner dialogue is filled with doubt, worry, or lack
If you’re experiencing low-vibrational energy don’t worry. This is not a permanent state. You have the power to shift and you have the ability to realign yourself in real-time.
5 Simple Ways to Shift Your Energy (Right Now!)
Move Your Body : Stagnant energy = stuck emotions. Take a walk, dance, stretch, or do breathwork. Movement instantly shifts your frequency.
Shift Your Environment : Cleanse your space, light incense, open a window. Your surroundings hold energy. A cluttered space will most likely give you a cluttered mind.
Sound Healing Works Wonders: Play high-frequency music, binaural beats, or mantras. Sound changes the structure of your energy field. Tibetan sound bowls are powerful in shaking up any stagnancy as well. I personally LOVE them! Just be sure you are able to use tools that emit various sound frequencies. Some people should NOT use them (e.g. people with pacemakers, people who are allergic to certain metals, people with certain medical conditions where vibrations will aggravate their condition, and pregnant or breastfeeding women).
Gratitude Reset : Stop and name 5 things you’re grateful for. Don’t just list them out, for each one take a moment to truly feel grateful. Gratitude is an instant frequency alchemist that can really shift your energetic state from low to high within a matter of seconds. Try it now — What are your grateful for? How about the ability to read these words and comprehend the message? “Thank you brain for working just right so I can read and understand.” Or what about the luxury of being able to use the internet, cell phone, tablet or computer that you’re using to scroll on the internet? Or how about the air that is available to you to keep your lungs alive and breathing today? Ok that was three — think of two more and feel the “THANK YOU” feels.
Energetic Recalibration : Words are powerful. Mean what you say and say what you mean. Feed yourself words of empowerment. Close your eyes, envision golden light surrounding you, and affirm:
"I am in control of my energy. I release what does not serve me and welcome in high-frequency alignment." Take a deep breath in as you say these words and as you breathe out, release the stagnancy and heaviness. By doing this practice you’re quite literally sending out an invite to the universe to establish alignment in your life with you and for you.

Energy is not something (just) outside of you it’s something you create. Once you understand how to shift your vibration, you become the conscious creator of your life and experiences.
